With an OEM roof rack on your 2021 Toyota Tacoma, you will have a lot of options for a basket. According to Toyota, the OEM crossbars are about 44" apart. So a larger basket like the Curt # C18115-117 will fit very nicely. This will fit a crossbar spread between 22" and 50". Generally the prices for the Curt baskets are appealing as well. As long as the weight of the tent is within the 150 pound capacity of the Thule basket, # TH859XT, and the weight is evenly distributed I don't see why it couldn't support a roof top tent. The roof rack and vehicle roof will also need to be rated high enough for the roof top tent.

We do have cargo carriers that fit the Rola Roof Rack 59842 but the Curt Cargo basket does not fit. The Curt cargo basket only fits bars up to 3 inches wide and the Aero bars of the Rola rack are 3 1/8 inches wide.
